Time Travel

Photobucket

Sergei Avdeyev, is a Russian cosmonaut who spent a 747.59 days in earth orbit, accumulated through three tours of duty aboard the Mir Space Station. He has orbited the earth an incredible 11,968 times traveling about 515,000,000 kilometers.

According to several reputable sources, Sergei holds the current known record for time travel by a human being. In his over 748 days aboard Mir (cumulative across three missions) he went approximately 17,000 mph and traveled roughly 0.02 seconds (20 milliseconds) into the future, which is considerably more than any other human being. Avdeyev's prolonged travel made him a younger man by about one- 50th of a second than those of us who have remained on Earth.

And this is what was going on in Avdeyev's head as he was traveling forward in time:

Jupiter's Favorites

I thought you guys might want to know a little more about Jupiter so I asked them to send me a couple of their favorites to share with y'all - So here you go...

Jupiter's favorite track: Theme From The Planets - Dexter Wansel

Synth-disco extravaganza which puts a smile on your face as big as Isaac's from "Love Boat". This is actually a sped up version of it, the original is pretty slow. Too slow in fact, someone probably switched his turntable on the wrong RPM and figured it sounded way better like this...

Favorite video: "Just The Way I Planned It" by Philip Michael Thomas.

The lesser-known half of Miami Vice had many shots at becoming a pop star, [however was] carried away by his disproportionate ego.
He actually failed to produce a single hit but did manage to record a video, thank god!
Everything is in it, the robot dance which looks like he's having a seizure, himself represented as the sun, his face in a woman's womb and much, much more.
The chorus "Just the way I planned it / More than I could ever dream" makes as much sense as the rest of the music, or the pictures. If you ever feel depressed, this should patch you up!

If you fancy the above or a bottle of Whiskey you will probably like Jupiter, they are playing Friday 03.04.09 for Pearl Flash - Free gig and a DJ set too so see you there...

Anyone who has had some interesting dreams, recurring dreams, waking dreams or lucid dreams...
We want you to send them to us!
A short description would be fine or a longer story....whatever you have time for!
